Attention all PQHA & PQHYA members… AQHYA and the AQHA Foundation are partnering up on a national community service project. The purpose of the project is to build awareness on the importance of research and education in the equine field. Each state’s goal is to raise money to donate to equine research and to volunteer at local equine facilities! Youth can do their service hours at a local vet office, rescue center, therapeutic riding center, hippo therapy center, 4H program, and/or a disaster relief center. When you collect money and/or do service hours, please let me know so I can keep track!

The top point earner in each region would earn $500 in scholarship awards, the top affiliate group earns money towards scholarship dollars, AND the top national winners receive trips to the AQHYA World Show and the YES seminar! It’s really a great opportunity, so please collect money and do your service hours! The deadline for this project is June 15 2014.

If you have any questions please contact me! Jess McMullen 717-816-1424 or jessm183@pa.net

PQHA understands that our exhibitors are choosing which shows to attend based on many factors - including location, facilities, points, organization & friendliness, and cost. Our goal is to provide a well-organized, friendly, fun environment at a world class facility while charging fees that remain affordable.

We have compared our show cost to those of over 40 other shows in the surrounding areas and beyond. The charges used in this comparison were taken from 2012 show bills. We believe that the PQHA fees compare favorably to most of the shows in our study, especially when comparing the “All Inclusive per Judge” costs.

(pages 1 &2 show detailed charges, pages 3 & 4 show comparisons for 1 class entered, 2 classes, 3 classes, blanket fees, and all inclusive).
